Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Intend Android application, which is developed and operated by Phoenix Tech ("Phoenix Tech", "we", "us", or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using Intend, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The Service

Intend provides tools for personal intentions, daily reflection, reminders, progress history, and pattern insights. Features may change, be improved, or be discontinued.

Not Medical or Professional Advice

Intend is a self-reflection and general wellbeing tool. It is not medical, mental-health, financial, legal, or other professional advice; it does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. Do not rely on the app for emergencies or decisions requiring a qualified professional.

Eligibility

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. Intend is not directed to children under 13 or below the applicable digital-consent age in their country.

Accounts

You may use anonymous access or Google Sign-In where available. You are responsible for maintaining control of your device and Google account. You must not misuse authentication, purchases, or entitlement systems.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the intentions, observations, journal entries, and other content you enter. You grant Intend only the limited rights required to process that content on your device and provide requested app functionality.

You are responsible for your content and must not use Intend to store or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing material.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Reverse engineer or interfere with the app except where applicable law permits.
• Bypass subscription, security, or access controls.
• Use the app to violate law or third-party rights.
• Introduce malicious code or disrupt the service.
• Impersonate others or misuse external community links.

Third-Party Services

Intend uses or links to services operated by third parties, including Google, Firebase, Google Play, and Telegram. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. Availability of third-party services is outside our control.

Intend Plus

Optional paid features may be offered through Intend Plus. Purchases made in the Android app are processed by Google Play and are also subject to the Intend Subscription Terms and Google Play terms.

Intellectual Property and License

The app, excluding your content and third-party materials, including its design, software, text, branding, and original assets, is owned by or licensed to Phoenix Tech and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app.

Availability and Changes

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, preservation of local data, compatibility with every device, or continued availability of any feature.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, all express or implied warranties are disclaimed, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phoenix Tech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or decisions made based on the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Intend during the twelve months preceding the claim, subject to mandatory consumer law.

Termination

You may stop using Intend at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address misuse, or discontinue the service. Terms that by nature should survive termination will remain effective.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the app or legal requirements change. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Governing Rules

These Terms apply subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.
