Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 13, 2026

Intend is an identity-practice and personal reflection application developed and operated by Phoenix Tech ("Phoenix Tech", "we", "us", or "our"), a software startup based in Poland. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Android app processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

Information You Provide

Intend may process:

You can use the app without signing in by selecting the anonymous option.

Local Practice Data

Your intention profile, daily logs, observations, journal entries, and settings are stored locally on your device using Android storage and an app database. Intend does not currently upload this practice content to an Intend-operated server.

The app disables Android system backup for its application data. Removing the app, clearing its storage, or using the in-app "Start fresh" action may permanently delete local information.

Google Services

If you use Google Sign-In, authentication is provided by Google and Firebase Authentication. Google may process account, device, diagnostic, and service information under its own terms and privacy policy. Intend receives the authentication information needed to identify the signed-in account.

Paid Intend Plus subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes payment details, transaction information, subscription status, and related service information. Intend does not receive or store your full payment card details.

Notifications

If you enable reminders and grant notification permission, Intend schedules local notifications according to your settings. Reminder scheduling is performed on your device. You can disable reminders in the app or revoke notification permission in Android settings.

External Links

The app may open external services, including a Telegram community and Google Play subscription management. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Intend is not responsible for their independent data practices.

Advertising and Analytics

The current version of Intend does not include advertising SDKs, Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or Firebase Crashlytics. If this changes, this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure will be updated before the changed processing is released.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to:

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and Deletion

Local practice data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or use an applicable in-app reset action. Authentication and purchase records retained by Google are governed by Google's retention practices.

To delete local practice history, use "Start fresh" in Settings or clear the app's storage in Android settings. To remove the app's access to your Google account, use your Google Account security settings. Subscription records and active subscriptions can be managed through Google Play.

Security

We use platform storage controls and encrypted network connections provided by Android, Firebase, and Google Play. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Intend is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their country. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

International Processing

Google services may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by Google's applicable privacy and data-processing terms.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be reflected in the app or store listing where appropriate.
